ATR - Day 6

I have started thinking of the 2 or 3 months looming ahead of me (in cast) and have decided I need to ORGANIZE! Shopping, cleaning, laundry, ironing, pay the bills, the list goes on.....

So, I've organized someone to come and clean the house once a week. Rick has been great at keeping the kitchen clean this week, but I can't expect him to do the whole house on a regular basis. Ashley will have to do the laundry (she does her stuff already, but will need to do all of it.) Rick will have to take his shirts to the dry cleaners and he will do the grocery shopping on the way home from work.

If women sat down and actually listed all the jobs they do in the house, they might have a heart attack! One of my friends the other day said that I would have to give up the control. I never thought that I was a control freak, but I do have standards! I love to eat good, healthy HOME COOKED food (after all I am a Chef) and I like to live in a clean house, wear clean clothes - do I have to go on.... But now, I suppose I'll have to compromise and not complain (too much), just until this is all over.

I miss cooking so much, I'm reduced to watching "Julie and Julia" on Netflix, but it's only making me hungry! I'm so craving a piece of soft creamy Brie and some crunchy Iggy bread. Thank goodness for that ready cooked rotisserie chicken in the fridge....

Medical note: I've weaned myself off the Oxycodone, and am just making do with Advil. Please do NOT take Oxycodone unless you really have to, it has really messed up my digestive system and I've had to take laxatives to unblock the drain. By the way, my leg is feeling pretty good. I actually hopped up and downstairs last night to have dinner and a movie. We saw "Men who stare at goats " with George Clooney - I do not recommend it!!
